Unboxing my experience

Excellent, ideal location in the old city center. And really close to restaurants, coffee shops, night markets, a large park and water puppet theatre as well as sightseeing in the bustling city.

Our room on the 7th floor at the back was both quiet and spotlessly clean. Although small, the bathroom was efficient, the water pressure good, and tempature hot. The staff are very helpful and speak good English. The airport transfer was excellent as we had a late flight in at night. Located in the old town, it was an easy 5min walk to the lake, sights and restaurants. The laundry service was excellent and the free internet available.
The front stairs are pretty steep for older or less mobile travellers, but I there is a doorman on duty at all times and so help available.

I can't believe they let other guests extend their stay while i was turned away. So rude. The moldy smell was unbearable, and don't get me started on my lack of a complimentary gesture for all the inconveniences. I almost gave a good review but just couldn't, thanks to these issues.

The attentive staff genuinely, offering assistance even before I arrived. I particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast with diverse menu options, including fresh fruits and locally inspired dishes. The hotel's central location allowed for easy exploration of Hanoi.
No significant complaints.

Location: the hotel was not far from centrum of Hanoi, the Old Quarter, close to the lake and the other attractions like the Women's Museum and Hanoi Museum. There was an in-house restaurant nearby. The room was kept immaculately clean and available with warm lighting, bathrobes. The morning meal was delicious and gorgeous with a Happy Birthday cake, vietnamese dishes.

Room+breakfast
The staff: we asked at the reception to call for a taxi as we had a very early flight. We were told that we had to pay: 20 usd, which dropped to 18 usd after protesting to the price. We went to the tourist info center and they gave us a phone number of a taxi company and told us that a it costs about10 usd. We went back to the reception and asked them to call the number and said we preferred to pay directly to the taxi driver and not at the reception of the hotel. The receptionist made some phone calls in front of us, allegedly to different taxi companies, and told us that they do not work at that hour (3.45am). As we did not want to lose the flight we accepted to pay 18 usd to the hotel even though we knew that we were being ripped off. We found out from the taxi driver that he got 10 usd from the hotel staff for the drive.

'' lovely hotel with great services '' Great place to stay if you want somewhere clean, comfortable and secure, and are not worried about views or extraneous amenities. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Room are clean with very nice of Hong River view. There is a laptop (computer ) with internet Wife & Cable for free in the room. The bathrooms are modern, with a good shower and separate bathtub - very nice overall. The restaurant downstairs is also quite nice, with a good breakfast buffet. Location was also great, about 3 minutes walk from the north end of Hoan Kiem Lake. Very close to a number of good restaurants and bars, and Hanoi is small enough to be walk to most attractions easily.

The friendliness of the staff and the fact that the hotel management have thought of every little detail - it provided 'extras' as good as most 4* hotels. It was a little oasis away from the noise, pollution and hustle bustle of Ha Noi.
